Teaching chemistry with tie day at the library.

“Crucial to science education is hands-on involvement: showing, not just telling; real experiments and field trips and not just ‘virtual reality.’” – Martin Rees

Summer Rocketry: We run rocket camps in conjunction with area youth groups and other organizations to reach as many participants as possible. This camp covers the physics of flight and rocket science while the participants build and launch model rockets. Participants also perform experiments to increase their understanding of the topics covered in the course.

“Research is what I’m doing when I don’t know what I’m doing.” – Wernher von Braun

School Rocketry: During the school year, we work with locals schools to bring rocket science into the classroom.

Outreach Programming: We participate in booths at community events like the Science Fair, Girls in Science, and the Library block party.
